Landscape

The commune includes almost 15 km of coastline. Its many hamlets (Saint-Pabu, Caroual, La Couture, Tu-ès-Roc, les Hôpitaux...) contain interesting examples of our heritage which reveal its history (a chapel, a dolmen, manors houses, a lighthouse...)

Follw the "Sentier des Douaniers" (Customs Officers' footpath) to discover two headlands classified as Grands Sites de France, Cap d'Erquy and Cap Frehel. Both are covered with heath, which can be yellow with gorse or purple with heather, with pink sandstones cliffs towering high above vast beaches of white sand.

From steep cliffs and beaches bathed in turquoise waters to the typically French bocage, landscapes with their patchwork of fields and hedgerows... Our greenways are safe, clearly signposted, usually sheltered from the wind, and suitable for all users. Ther are plenty of local services on hand for the added convenience and comfort of cyclists, horse-riders and walkers...
